Commercial Air Duct Cleaning: What's the difference between residential and commercial ?

What's the difference between commercial air duct cleaning and residential air duct cleaning?

Let's read and find out:

Residential air duct cleaning is the process where a vacuum drawing negative air is connected to the duct system close to the air handling system ( furnace ). At the same time the technician is using power brushes and air lances ( specially designed whips) that are connected to an air compressor machine. Air duct cleaners will use either a portable negative air pressure machine with HEPA filter machine or use a outside vacuum.

The National Air Duct Cleaners Association mentions that as long as there is removal of debris without introducing it back into the home, it is an acceptable method.

Commercial air duct cleaning is similar yet does have some differences from the residential air duct cleaning process.
